Delivery of a complete GEA/Grasso NH3 cool/freeze pump installation
At the end of 2016, Comron International received the order from a customer who is active in the frozen food for delivery of a complete GEA/Grasso NH3 cool/freeze pump installation for a new build cold/freeze complex in Egypt. The installation has been designed by Comron International in such a way that the customer (seasonally dependent) can set the desired temperatures per cell from + 5°C to -25°C with a simple operation on the Siemens touchscreen with graphic displays. The cool / freeze pump installation consists of one Grasso Twin screw package type NV-3HP equipped with 2 pieces of 200kW Schorch E-motors. Cooling capacity at -30°C / +40°C of 521kW, Grasso single screw package type NK-3A, equipped with a 160kW Schorch E-motor. Cooling capacity at -30°C/+40°C of 260,5 kW.
Furthermore, this installation is equipped with an ABB low pressure separator of 5m3 complete with ammonia liquid pumps, GEA eco tank of 2m3, complete with ammonia liquid pumps, high pressure liquid tank of 3.000L, 2 pieces of Baltimore CXV-193R evaporating condensers, 12 pieces of Goedhart cool/freeze evaporators, all necessary Danfoss control stations, custom made control box with Siemens S7 PLC / touchscreen with new software programmed by Comron International. Installation was up into operation with the full satisfaction of the customer in mid-2017 under the supervision of Comron International.
