Delivery of a used Frigoscandia FFS2RADF Flow Freezer complete with complete GEA/Grasso ammonia freezing installation
At the beginning of 2020, Comron International received the order from a company in Egypt that is active in fruit and vegetable products for a delivery of used Frigoscandia FFS2RADF Flow Freezer with a complete GEA/Grasso ammonia freezing installation coupled to a Baltimore evaporating condenser type CXV 396. In the facility of Comron International, the Frigoscandia Flow Freezer with a freezing capacity of 3.500kg/h based on green peas, was completely built up, checked for defects, drive mechanism overhauled and supplied with new oil and the stainless steel control box equipped with a Siemens S7 PLC/touchscreen with software customized by Comron International. Furthermore, this Frigoscanida Flow Freezer will be delivered with 2 pieces new extra Goedhart evaporator blocks to increase the cooling capacity of 400kW at an evaporation temperature -40°C, that will make a production capacity of 3.500 kg/h based on green peas. The control box for the GEA/Grasso freezing installation is built by Comron International with a Siemens S7 S1200/Simatic touchscreen. The engineering and delivery of the E-schemes, P&ID drawings and custom-made software for the entire control system are also provided by Comron International. The complete installation will be put into operation by a local contractor under the supervision of Comron International in mid-2021.
