Beginning of 2021, Comron International received the order from the company Grolleman Coldstore for delivery of a complete new NH3 Freeze-/store freezing installation with a freezing capacity of 1140 kW at an evaporating temperature of -40°C. The freezing installation consists of the following main components:
- 3 pieces in-house newly built screw package, each equipped with a Howden screw compressor type WRVi 255-130, E-motor 355 kW, thermosyphon oil cooling, control box with Siemens S7 PLC/Simatic touchscreen and software developed by Comron.
- Baltimore CXV 396 evaporating condenser.
- New custom-made high pressure liquid tank for thermosyphon application with a volume of 1500 Ltr.
- Eco tank with a volume 4.400 liter, complete with high pressure Witt floater.
- New low pressure separator with a volume of 13.000 Ltr, complete with 2 pieces Witt semi-hermetic liquid pumps, pressure gauge set, differential pressure switches, pneumatic safety valves/stop valves, Kornwestheim electric liquid level control, oil return system (fully automatic) complete with oil storage barrel.
- 4 pieces new Goedhart/Kelvion standing stainless steel freeze evaporators type PLK.S, each equipped with 4 pieces Nuaire high pressure fans, hot gas defrost in coil and drip tray.
- Control cabinet /switch box with 3 pieces new Yaskawa frequency controllers built into the control cabinet with AC cooling system, Siemens S7 PLC/Simatic touchscreen with custom-made software and graphical displays made by Comron.
- All required new Danfoss control stations, stop valves, etc.
The engineering and delivery of the E-diagram’s, P&ID drawings, all required PED certificates and custom-made software for the entire installation also provided by Comron International.
Installation was put into operation under the supervision of our supervisors together with the local contractor.
