New Sabroe SAB/Johnson Controls complete explosion-proof cool/freeze screw compressor package. This compressor package is designed for applications with hydrocarbons and gas mixtures, including Ethylene and Propylene, making it suitable for industrial refrigeration systems and gas processes where high reliability, stability and safety are required.

The compressor package consists of the following main components:

• 1x Sabroe/Johnson Controls screw compressor package, type 233L, consisting of: horizontal oil separator (OF 2115), oil pump, glycol shell-and-plate heat exchanger/oil cooler (Vahterus PSHE 3LL-60/2/1), explosion-proof pressure and temperature sensors
• New Unisab III controller, explosion-proof WEG 450 kW electric motor, 690 V in delta configuration (Δ)
• PED pressure certificates
• Complies with ATEX regulations

The mentioned cooling capacity of 450 kW is based on refrigerant Propylene (R1270) at an evaporating temperature of -40°C ECO and an approximate condensing temperature of +38°C, with a rotational speed of 2,950 RPM, resulting in a power consumption of 310 kW.
