New Sabroe SAB / Johnson Controls / Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL freeze pump installation is assembled by Comron International and consists of the following main components:
- 1x Sabroe / Johnson Controls screw compressor package, type 233E VSD, contains: Horizontal oil separator, thermosifon shell-and-plate/oil cooler.
New Unisab III controller, ABB 570 kW electric motor, IE4, IP55, with insulated bearings, economizer connection with control station.
- New own brand: Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL – low-pressure separator -40°C (surge drum) with a volume of 5 m³, equipped with 2 used hermetic ammonia liquid pumps.
- New eco vessel -10°C, volume 1.5 m³, proprietary brand: Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL.
- New high-pressure liquid receiver for thermosiphon application, 1.5 m³, own brand: Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL
- New control cabinet with 500 kW Danfoss frequency inverter for the ABB E-motor, Siemens S7 PLC / Simatic touchscreen, including custom-made software.
- Baltimore CXVE_244-1012-15L R – used evaporative condenser, 1,245 kW at a wet-bulb temperature of +22°C.
- All required shut-off valves, Danfoss PM valves, control stations, floats and electronic liquid level controllers.
- All necessary P&ID drawings, E-schemes and PED pressure certificates
The mentioned cooling capacity of 505 kW is based on refrigerant R717 (ammonia) at -40°C / +35°C, with economizer, 60 Hz, and a compressor speed of 3,600 RPM, resulting in an absorbed motor power of 334 kW.
