Description / remarks: 

New Sabroe SAB / Johnson Controls / Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL freezing pump installation is assembled by Comron International from the following main components:

  • New 2x Sabroe / Johnson Controls screw compressor packages, Type SAB 151S, consisting of: Horizontal oil separator, thermosiphon shell-and-plate heat exchanger / oil cooler, Unisab III controllers, 110 kW E-motors IE4, IP55 with insulated bearings, economizer connection with control station
  • New own brand: Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL - low-pressure separator -40°C (surge drum) with a volume of 2 m³ equipped with 2 used hermetic ammonia liquid pumps
  • New eco vessel -10°C, 500 dm³ own brand: Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL
  • New high-pressure liquid tank for thermosiphon application 500 dm³ own brand: Comron Industrial Refrigeration SL
  • New control panels with 110 kW frequency inverters for compressors 1 and 2 brand: Yaskawa
  • Used control panel for the complete installation with new wiring, Siemens S7 1200 PLC Simatic HMI touchscreen with custom-made software
  • Baltimore / Evapco – used evaporative condenser of choice
  • All required shut-off valves, Danfoss PM valves, control stations, floats, electronic liquid level controllers etc.
  • All required P&ID drawings, E-schematics and PED pressure certificates

The mentioned cooling capacity of 206 kW is with refrigerant R717/ammonia at  -40°C/+35°C/ECO 60 Hz with a rotational speed of 3600 RPM, resulting in an absorbed motor power of 146 kW for 2 compressors.
