End of 2020, Comron International received the order from a cheese manufacturer from Belgium for delivery of a Octofrost Flow freezer (freezing capacity of 2.000 kg grated cheese products per hour) with a complete Sabroe NH3 freeze pump installation(built in a 40ft container) with a freezing capacity of 290 kW at an evaporating temperature of -40°C. The freeze pump installation consists of the following main components:
- 1 piece Sabroe two stage 16 cylinder direct driven piston compressor type TSMC 116E, equipped with Unisab II controller, Schorch E-motor 132kW
- 1 piece Sabroe two stage 16 cylinder direct driven piston compressor type TSMC 116L, equipped with Unisab II controller, Schorch E-motor 110kW
- 1 piece Güntner dry cooler type GFH 080.2C/1-N(D)-F6/10P for oil and head cooling of the Sabroe piston packages
- Combined low pressure -40°C/-8°C intermediate pressure separator with 2 pieces ammonia liquid pumps
- 1 piece air-cooled condenser type S-AGVH 090.2A/2x4-N(D)
- Switchboard cabinet with Siemens S7 PLC
The engineering and delivery of the P&ID drawings and E-diagrams are also provided by Comron International.
The Octrofrost flow freezer with the Sabroe freeze pump installation was built up at the customer by a local installer and the complete installation was put into operation at the beginning of February 2022 to the customer's full satisfaction.
