In 2024, Comron International, in collaboration with Aerkoel (official dealer of AirMac water chillers) and the parent company AirMac Italy, was awarded the contract for the delivery of 24 air-cooled water chillers with integrated free cooling. These units will be installed in a newly constructed factory in Argentina dedicated to the production of high-quality solar panels. The total required cooling capacity amounts to approximately 65 megawatts, including free cooling. As agreed in the order confirmation, the first chillers coming off the production line underwent thorough testing to verify cooling capacity and energy consumption. These factory acceptance tests were conducted in AirMac Italy’s in-house testing facilities. A unique feature in the industry ensuring performance could be guaranteed under controlled conditions. The delivery included the following key activities and components: • Final assembly and electrical connections in the test facility • Capacity testing under simulated thermal loads and flow rates • Technical meetings and documentation reviews with the client team • Packaging and preparation of the units for transport to Argentina Installation and commissioning will be carried out locally, under the supervision and technical guidance of Comron International.
