Frigoscandia GCP-42 spiral freezers
For a client in Morocco active in the fish industry Comron International BV acquired in 2010 the order to deliver 3 used Frigoscandia GCP-42 GyroCompact spiral freezers in combination with a complete NH3 freeze-pump installation, consisting of 2x York/Frick 193L screw compressors with a cooling capacity of 340 kW at -40°/+35°C, a Baltimore VXC205 evaporative condenser, a 3,5 m³ low pressure separator, a 1 m³ high pressure separator, a switch-board and 2x Unisab III controllers. For the 11 cool/freeze storage rooms we supplied new Bitzer condensing units complete with Goedhart evaporators with a cooling capacity of 25 kW each at -35°/+45°C .
For the processing area Comron supplied two used Kappa BlueBox water chillers with a capacity of 1000kW at 6°C water outlet in combination with 25 pieces new Goedhart evaporators for air sock application. The completely new plant started up in the middle of 2011.
