Numafa used twin spiral cooler
For a Dutch baker of cake products Comron International made one twin spiral cooler out of two standard used spiral towers for the cooling of cake bottoms with a diameter of 38 cm. By coupling the two systems a total belt length of 260 m was realised. A great advantage of this way of cooling is that a very limited space is needed for a big capacity. The spirals were built up at Comron, adjusted and tested. The installation is equipped with a complete and a conveniently arranged switch-board with 2 frequency switches and necessary controls and securities. After inspection by the customer the towers were partly dismantled and transported to the customer in order to build them up, to put the installation into operation and to give the guarantee of a good working spiral cooler.
