2 used Frigoscandia spiral freezers with matching Sabroe/Frigopak ammonia freeze-pump installation
At the beginning of 2013 Comron International received from a Spanish factory of Italian products like pizza’s and focaccia for their franchise formula (30 restaurants throughout Spain) the order to deliver two Frigoscandia spiral freezers 1x GCM106-08-23-46-NS and 1x GCM76-08-26-22-NN witht ADF with a matching Sabroe/Frigopak freeze pump installation consisting of 3 Sabroe SAB163HF screw compressors with a total cooling capacity of 540kW at -40°C evaporating temperature and 35°C condensing with refrigerant NH3 ammonia. The customer and Comron together decided to connect the smaller Frigoscanda GCM76 spiral freezer in the first phase of the project to the Sabroe Frigopak and later this year the bigger Frigoscandia GCM106 spiral freezer. In September 2013 this installation was taken into production. Comron did the complete engineering, the two spiral freezers were built up completely in our factory and overhauled and Sabroe Frigopak installation is provided with a new PLC with touch screen, programmed by Comron, with new shaft seals, new electric wire diagrams and P&ID. The installation is developed in such a way that the customer could easily install the used industrial refrigeration installation and both spiral freezers with a local refrigeration contractor, under supervision of Comron.
