Used, complete Grasso/FrigoPack NH3 ammonia freeze-pump installation
In the middle of 2013 Comron International got the order from a Dutch manufacturer of meat products, that belongs to a big Brazilian multinational with branches all over the world, to deliver a complete NH3 freeze installation that would be coupled to the existing spiral freezer for their factory in Great Britain. The installation consists of a Frigopack 20ft container in which a GEA Grasso VB3BL screw package is built with a cooling capacity of 320kW at -40°C evaporating and +35°C condensing temperature , a switchboard with Grasso controller, liquid pumps and delivered separately a surge drum with built-on open intercooler, floaters and an Evapco evaporative condenser. Comron prepared the installation in its own factory in such a way that the installation could easily be installed by a local company and under supervision van Comron it was taken into production in October 2013 to customer’s complete satisfaction.
