End of 2019, Comron International received the order from a regular customer who has already purchased several ammonia freezing installations from Comron International for a delivery of a Howden freezing pump installation with a freezing capacity of 1230kW at an evaporating temperature of -40°C which is coupled to various Frigoscanida spiral freezers supplied by Comron International. The installation consists of the following main components:

• 1 piece Howden screw package type MK4EWRV255/110 with 250kW E-motor and Thermosiphon oil cooler
• 1 piece Howden screw package type MK6DWRVI255/165 with 355kW E-motor and Thermosiphon oil cooler
• 1 piece Howden screw package type MK6DWRVI255/165 with 355kW E-motor and Thermosiphon oil cooler
• Low pressure separator -40°C, 13m3 volume with 3 pieces Witt hermetic liquid pumps
• Eco tank 4m3
• High pressure liquid tank 3m3
• Switch box with new softstarter, new Siemens S7 PLC/Simatic touchscreen en custom made software
• 2 pieces Baltimore evaporating condensers type VXC 454R and type VXC 328
• Howden compressors and E-motors completely overhauled by Comron

Engineering and delivery of the P&ID drawings also provided by Comron International.

Industrial freezing pump installation was put into operation by a local contractor under the supervision of Comron International in beginning of 2021.
